Ep.2: "Beautiful Response/Raising Hope for Uganda"
with Dr. Pamala Tipler,DO
Raising Up Hope for Uganda (RUHU) is a nonprofit organization in Uganda started by Patrick Ssenyonjo to get other children off the streets and provide them a future. We put the kids in a program, feed them, and get them off drugs. We take them from the streets to the Village of Hope in Bujuuko, a rural village, where we have 2 houses, a church, and a clinic. It is here where the kids learn to have responsibilities and live in a community. They also begin their education. From there, they go to Bulenga where there are 3 orphanages and a nursery and primary school. If you are interested in getting involved in any other way, you can check out www.beautifulresponse.org and www.raisinguphope.org or contact Pamela Tipler on Facebook (1st “hit” under searches) or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
